As the time ticks, it is time to head down to the Church, St Francis of Assisi.
The Groom had been anticipating for this day to come and to end as The Bride had been superbly emotional about the whole ceremony
- She wanted to have a section to have the candle lit in memory of her departed parents – was advised not to have it by the priest as the whole ceremony focus should be on the bridal couple.
- Then there was something amiss about the Church booklet. When the bridal couple was given another reference booklet; The Bride wanted to follow the booklet where there is general intercession for the dearly departed. It too was rejected, as the booklet required approval by the dioceses; and it is too late for any changes as it only days to the wedding date.
A scenario happened day(s) before the wedding…. The Bride feels too stressed up and wanted to run away. The Bride was having an emotional breakdown hours before the wedding day.
The Groom : “It is time to let go, my love. God knows how emotional you will get. It is our day like Father said, the whole ceremony shall focus on us.”
The Bride : “But I wanted my parents to be part of the whole journey!”
The Groom : “They will always be, my love. You’re a replica of your mother! She is and always will be with you! It will take that away from you. So it time for you to let go of them and start your new journey.
The Bride: *Sobbing*
The Groom: They will be celebrating our wedding in Heaven. They will rejoice and watching from heaven. Our wedding will be broadcast up there and my father and your parents and all our departed loved ones will be there dancing and celebrating our wedding.”
