Invercargill, Part I

It was a very cold morning after our arrival. Hubby saw frost dew in the garden. I jumped right back to bed after getting out of bed as it was too cold for me to get out of the warmth of the bed.

By the time we got dressed up and ready to explore the town, it was almost lunch hour. Hubby’s friend brought us to this very cozy pub, Waxy Irish Pub for lunch. I was told about blue cod before heading to NZ. So it is a must try item for me.

We had their lunch menu and a blue cod fish and chips.

Queens Park

After lunch, we headed out to Queens Park to enjoy the cold nature. It was end of autumn. Therefore the autumn palette of colours painted the park.
